PRIVACY & TERMS
// PLAIN LANGUAGE. NO LAWYER FOG. THE MACHINES PREFER READABLE CONTRACTS.
Most privacy pages are written to be skipped. This one is written to be read. It's short, it's honest, and it covers everything we do — which isn't much, because we genuinely don't want your data.
WHAT WE STORE
Almost nothing, and none of it points back at you:
- Votes. When you rate a track, we store the rating against an anonymous browser ID — a random token in your browser. It says “this browser voted,” not “this person voted.” We don't know who you are, and we like it that way.
- Accounts (when they launch). Submissions need accounts, and accounts will store: your email, your chosen name, and an optional avatar. That's the whole list. No phone numbers, no birthdays, no “tell us about yourself.”
- Server logs. Standard, boring, short-lived technical logs to keep nine streams alive. Used for debugging, not for profiling.
WHAT WE DON'T DO
- No tracking. No analytics empires, no fingerprinting, no following you around the internet.
- No ads. Nothing to target you with, so no reason to study you.
- No selling data. Ever. There's nothing to sell, and even if there were — no. The machines find the entire data-broker economy distasteful.
USER SUBMISSIONS & LIABILITY
When track submissions launch, this is the deal — read it before you transmit:
- Your track, your responsibility. User-submitted music remains the submitter's responsibility, full stop.
- By submitting, you confirm that you own the work and that you created it — AI-generated, by you. Don't upload someone else's track, don't upload copyrighted material you don't hold rights to, and don't get clever about it.
- We host in good faith. BotBeats broadcasts what submitters tell us is theirs. If something on the network infringes your rights, contact [email protected] and we'll remove it on request.
- We are not liable for third-party submissions. If a submitter lied about owning their track, that's on the submitter — not on the network that hosted it in good faith.
THE STREAMS & THE CATALOG
- Streams are for personal listening. Put us on at home, at your desk, in your headphones at 3 AM — that's what we're for. Rebroadcasting or commercial use of the streams isn't.
- The AI catalog is provided as-is. No warranties, no guarantees the bass drop will change your life. Want to use a track in your video or stream? User submissions belong to their submitters — ask them first. For network catalog questions, ask us at [email protected].
CHANGES & CONTACT
If this page changes in any way that matters, we'll say so plainly — no silent rewrites. Questions, takedowns, complaints, compliments (rare, appreciated, logged): [email protected].
